Take 9 photos to be brought to the next class. 3 of 1, 3 of 2, and 3 of 3 point perspective. Each of the 3 should vary the eye or horizon line in the image. 1 high, 1 from your POV, and 1 seated. After you have taken the photos print and trace over the more obvious perspective lines as well as the eye line in the image.

Homework #4

Fold a sheet of 18 x 24 paper in fours. In each square do a drawing that serves as a compositional study for the object drawing due one week from Monday.

Hmwrk #3

Walk around campus, your apartment, the grocery store... make drawings of at least 20 negative shapes in a sketchbook. Once you have these shapes use them to create an interesting well composed 18x24 drawing on white paper from your drawing pad. You can repeat the shapes, change scale, overlap, and create new shapes shading in and creating new interactions of positive/ negative shapes on your paper.
